Think it over again

Went Vivo today after work. Had a good tok with people over there. I was able to get some views on some thoughts going on (ya finally).

Relieved some stress after expressing some unhappiness and views. Sometimes I think its better to tok to some frens rather then family members. Help offered maybe will be limited but least you could get to have someone listen to you.

Haha and ya free meals and drinks there... A bit of paiseh leh. like alway bai chi bai he. and yes they are the same old people down there. thks.......

I will Survive.....

Finally... I am loosen up a bit. Got a bit of bizy days for the pass wk, doing assignments. Starting out early in the morning and not reaching hm till late (at least 11pm). Everything was like super cramp and time seems tight. One thing for sure. I AM STILL ALIVE.

NOt feeling in the best of health also. With the knee still in pain, movements are slow and restricted. Ya, and now I got problems even squatting. Need a lot of slp also. I have been staying up late due to insomnia?? Or maybe too stressed ???? :/

1 wk to CNY, 2 wks to Valentine's day and Exams. So good luck and happy Valentine EVERyone!!!!

January 2008 Genting Trip

I am back from the 3 days 2 nite Genting trip!!!

Tiring traveling there by bus. I practically slp all the way there. BUT it was no good slp, coz I was awaken by sound from others now and then (I am a light slper)

It was really really cold the first day there loh. I almost like want to give up on going anywhere other then the casino and hotel room.

Humm...... I had Kenny Roger for lunch. The food don taste good, not even worth the money. Though it was served up, the food was cold and the chicken tasted sooooo soggy. So much for their fire roasted chicken.

Pizza Hut for dinner. Everything taste somewhat the same. Thats what to expect from a international chain store bah. The best part will be that its cheaper then Singapore. For RM65 we get 4 soup, 3 or 4 side dish (i think), then 2 mid sized pizza plus unlimited free flow of PEpsi though we never got it.

And my impression for the casino: one that is filled with smoke(many pple will be smoking), noisy (many will be shouting), very cramp.
The reality was all the opposite. It was clean and smoke free though some still smoke. most of the things was done in silence using hand signals. People tok through whispering. The place have enough space to move about, or least you don knock into people or have to follow behind pple in order to get through like some street in Singapore.

Second day we went to Ah Ye abalone restaurant for dim sum breakfast. It was the best dim sum for me. i never had such good dim sum in Singapore before loh. Pricing wise shld consider cheap also. each of us paid about RM30 for the filling meal.

After the breakfast, we went back to the room. That's when I stayed in the room for the rest of the days. My knee got swollen and there was pain which was really very super unbearable. I had to take panadol for it also which normally i don for any pain. So too bad...Spent the day idling in the room.
Take away MaryBrown for lunch in the room and fried rice for dinner.

Third day was the check out day. I took panadol every 2hrs so that the pain will become 'immune' and at least I was about to walk without pain. UP on the coach at 1330 and reach Singapore about 2000. ya I made it back alive.

Thanks XiaoQiang for being the one who took care of all my hunger and thirst when I was crippled for the day.

Hello Everyone!! Its Sunday again.... yap. So one week gone.

I was busy with some functions at work. Its like none stop thing loh. Starting early in the morning and then all the way to closing time. No energy left to do other things. I was so dead after work that I don feel like doing anything.

I missed lesson again!!!! HaHA!!! I did not skip class loh..... The lecture was actually cancelled.... n it was moved online. Just some questions and answers sessions so I am still wondering why all the money was paid to get lessons cancelled. This is the 3rd one called off liao.

There was a gathering on Sat. We went to Lucky Plaza for the 'Rabbit Brand Restaurant'. Min spent there shld be $5.50 if I am not wrong. YOu get to taste abalone, shark fins and the various delicacy. Food don taste so bad. Environment wise is a disaster.

In the news over the week

The two hopeful had already gain led. Hillary will be betting to become the first lady president in US and Obama will try to be the first black president for US.

Gold had hit a record high for the first time over the week following the one set by oil. Gold set the record at over $900 an ounce!!!!

Sweat,Sweat, sweat today for me. My boss just sacked one of the worker and is now short-handed. I was made the 'manual dish washer' for the day :(... It was a 'super heavy dish washing duty' and I was sweating like hell. Feeling dead tired after all the washing.

And already 1 week into January and Festive Holidays are over (2wks). School have already started but I had not attended any of them (haha). But I will start attending lessons starting this week. Ya I will.

Looks packed for the month. With 3 lessons every week (thats the max for now) and assignments due, its not going to be easy.

KL trip finally confirmed!!!! :P There are some clashes so I think I have to get those in the way first.

World Wide Elections 2008

The year 2008 had just started and many countries are in for a new high. There are about 47 elections coming up in 40 different countries.

Those worth mentionable will be the ones in United States, Pakistan, Taiwan, Russia, Cambodia and Malaysia(unconfirmed)

First up will be the legislative election in Taiwan. Scheduled on Jan 12 2008. Seats of the various Cities and Counties are up for grabs. Those elected will be the first set of legislators to serve a longer 4-year term in the Legislative Yuan as reported in WIKIPEDIA.

Next up coming one will be Pakistani elections. The event was originally scheduled for Jan 8 2008. It was then delayed until Feb 18 2008 because of the violence and chaos that followed the assassination of opposition leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians' Benazir Bhutto. Key contenders include Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain (PMLQ), Maulana Fazl ur-Rahman (MMA), Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif (PMLN), Altaf Hussain (MQM), Imran Khan (PTI), Zulfigar Ali Bhutto (PPPP).

On March 2 2008, Russia will held its very own Presidential Election. The three possible candidates for President of Russia will be Dmitri Medvedev, Sergei Ivanov and Gennady Zuganov. Medvedev is supported by the ever popular Vladimir Putin. Medvedev will also be backed by United Russia, Fair Russia, the Agrarian Party of Russia and Civilian Power. Therefore it seems like a one sided match but things changes fast in the political world. You never know after the results are out.

Again the focus went on to Taiwan after the Russia election. Presidential Election on March 22 2008 between 马英九 and 谢长廷. 马英九 seem to be the likely choice for now. With more than 50% of the support from survey of people of Taiwan, you cannot be wrong.

Unconfirmed date for Parliamentary Elections in the Cambodia but it will be somewhere at July 2008. It will be a change in the governing bodies serving the country for the next 5 years. The King still rules in Cambodia.

Our neighbor, Malaysia, had just announced through Prime Minister, Abdullah Badawi, that it will be holding a general election somewhere in 2008. There might still be changes so be on the alert.

The United States had just kicked off the ball. The date will be November 4 2008. Hot on the news Hillary Clinton, U.S. Senator from New York and former First Lady And Barack Obama, U.S. Senator from Illinois. Much more remains to be seen here.
