Circadian Rhythm Disorder/ News of the DAY

Circadian Rhythm Disorders (CRD) is often associated people who sees little or no sunlight. People with high rates of insomnia and other sleep problems are usually diagnosed with Circadian Rhythm Disorders.

The most common disruption of circadian rhythms are due to jet lag. It involves crossing of time zone resulting in a mismatch between internal circadian clock and external time. Common complaints because of CRD include sleeplessness during day/night, depression, impaired concentration.

Different individuals have different circadian rhythm; therefore each individual’s productivity would be affected by their own physical and mental well-being. It is therefore difficult to conclude how much an individual with CRD are affected at large.

Today's hottest news ' Singapore won the Youth Olympic Bid ' . It is all over the headlines and the news. The country having won the bid, will be able to held Youth Olympics in 2010. It will be the next big sporting event with the upcoming Formula 1. Singapore will be planning to spend big on hosting the games. Facilities to host the games must be built and accommodation for the athletes will also be built.

The Formula 1 in Singapore will be held in August at night. The first night race in the history and one of Singapore's very own. There will be no advertisement/ signboard from the tobacco company also, which dominated races from other countries.

Other then these 2 major events, there is also the ' ToTo HongBao draw ' which Singaporeans will be very concerned about. Once every year, the draw promises to give out more than 1 million in cash. Though the money will be shared among the winners, it still come to some good sum of money.
